Thanks for checking out the journal section of my website! This entry is always on top– all the new content is below it.

Special welcome to anyone wandering over today from Groupon!  Come on in, make yourself comfy!  My summer and fall were so crazy that my blog’s a little under-updated right now, but I’m working to rectify that – so take what’s here, multiply it by 10 and know that it’s in the pipeline.

This section of my website is dedicated to keeping you up to date on what’s going on with Closed Circle Photography. Scroll down to view gorgeous weddings, fun engagement pictures, cute kids, and my press clippings.

The worst blogger ever.

I’m seriously horrible at blogging.  I update my facebook page all the time, so if you’re on facebook – definitely find me over there.  Some time when wedding season stops being a tsunami (oh, November, you restful month!) I promise a major major major amount of blogging.

Until then, know that I’m out here shooting my tail off and loving every second of it.  XO

Susanna & Steven’s Rockport Wedding – Annisquam Yacht Club Wedding

Susanna & Stephen got married in one of my favorite parts of the year in New England – mid-September. The last drops of Summer and the first breath of Fall all at once…and in Rockport…perfect doesn’t even begin to describe it. Their wedding was small and sweet – and also they made their entrance to the reception in a boat. Awesome.

Chris & Jen’s Kimball Farm Wedding

So here’s the dilemma – you’re among the last of your friends to get married, in fact most of your friends have kids….lots of kids…and not just the non-mobile-baby kind.  You need to have the kid friendliest wedding on the planet so your friends can come and not have to worry too much about their small ones – Kimball Farms.  Done.  And at some point you and your entire bridal party are ramming each other on bumper boats while  your mother and MIL are playing a cut-throat game of mini golf.  Pretty much : you win.

Oh right, and then there was that whole photobooth thing. :)

Christine & Sara’s State Room Wedding

Christine & Sara had a gorgeous wedding at Boston’s iconic State Room, we took pictures in Fannieul Hall, and then the sun set over Quincy Market and the lights of Boston gave all of their guests a gorgeous panoramic view to look at. What better way to show your love of this great city than show it off!

Addie & Zora’s Community Rowing Wedding – Harry Parker Boathouse Wedding

I’d always been curious about what I now know is the Harry Parker Boathouse.   It’s that gorgeous, golden, wavy building down right on the river in Brighton.  Thanks to Addie & Zora I not only had an excuse to go in and look around, but Zora’s love of rowing inspired me to take an intro class – it was a blast.  Oh yeah, and so was their Quaker style wedding! You can’t see it in this shot, but Zora’s shoes had “Z loves A” embroidered on the side. :)

Kate & Kristen’s Museum of Science Wedding!

It’s not often that you have to defend yourself from dinosaurs at your wedding…or that you can pose in one of the original Apollo modules…and yet…at Boston’s Museum of Science you get to do both of those things – and the view from the reception room over the Charles River is killer!
